"The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start."
Kitsap TriBabes
Day by day to do list

Friday: 1) Pack for the event using the Packing List that I sent you. I have re-attached it to this email just in case you need it. 2) Get a good night sleep. Any normal red-blooded person will NOT sleep the night before an event. So, make sure you get well-rested on Friday, when you still have a fighting chance of getting some sleep!

Saturday: 1) Go to the Expo at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. Here you will pick up your Race Packet. Once you receive this packet, keep it with you at all times!!! The Expo volunteers will tell you what to do with the items in the packet. If you have any questions, we will answer them at the Carbo Load dinner. 2) Go to Genessee Park in south Seattle and rack your Bike in the Event Transition Area according to your race number. In your packet, there will be a printed number that you must affix to your bike. 3) While in the Transition Area, visit the Swim start and notice where you will exit on your bike ride, where your will return from your bike ride AND where your will exit on the run/walk. (Please note that you will finish the run/walk AWAY from the Transition Area.) 4) Enjoy the food and pre-event comradery at the Tri Babe Carbo Load dinner at the Bellevue Downtown Park -- Center Lawn starting at 6:00p.m.

Sunday: 1) Get yourself to Genessee Park, at least ONE HOUR before your Swim Wave Start time. 2) Remember that this event is NOT a stressful trial -- it is the celebration of all the hard training work you have done the past three months. 3) Savor each and every moment of your Event experience. 4) Scream "Tri Babes ROCK to every woman in a pink Tri Babe jersey you see on the course!!! 5) Start a "whoop" in the I-90 tunnel while biking. 6) After you cross the finish line, come join the growing group of Tri Babes cheering at the finish line. Tri Babe Supporters and Participants will rally around the Tri Babe banner which David will set up at the finish line.
